Video Projects - Current State 2016

In the last years the focus of linvanoak shifted from videos to computer graphics and compositing 3d elements with live action images.

Nevertheless, linvanoak is open to discuss collaborations in video projects if there is an inspring idea and a well organised team backing up the production.

2007 - 2011 First experiences with Video and Film

At the University of Fribourg 2002-2007 linvanoak gained first experiences with the handling of video cameras and editing in several practical courses.
A theoretical background in the history and language of film was provided by experts working in the areas of television, documentary and feature films.

linvanoak gained more practical experience in an internship at the student tv of the university.

After finishing university with a Master of Arts degree linvanoak started to create and produce his own short films.

The biggest challenge was to find people willing to work for free on sparetime projects. Because of that linvanoak started to build up his knowledge in all production steps.

He gained experience in the areas of loops and sample based sound design and VFX.

First experiments with chromakey followed soon after.

From 2007 - 2008 linvanoak started with creating trailers, PR and documentary style clips. First attempts at music clips and short films with dialogue and story followed 2008-2011.

Inspired by the works of other filmmakers linvanoak deceided in 2011 to shift attention to computer graphics.
